Each year, the AA hosts a small group of teachers to come together and discuss how architecture is taught, why it is taught, and how this can or is changing. In 2013, 12 people from Nigeria, India, Singapore, Greece, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Slovenia, Canada and the United States were accepted to participate in the program along with moderators and organizers from the AA. Participants engaged the methods of instruction within the AA and then presented the curricular and pedagogical perspectives from their own institutions. The images above are a selection of key images from my presentation pertaining to California College of the Arts, the courses I specifically teach, and the overall structure of the programs.
